Our animal companions can be our truest, most steadfast friends. Their love is unconditional, their loyalty unfailing. When they die, it is natural to feel grief and sadness, even depression.

If you need extra support at this difficult time, our free Pet Loss Support Group is here, with an open ear and an understanding heart.

The group is facilitated by experienced grief counselors and meets at 7 pm, the second Thursday of each month at PHS/SPCA. Reservations are not necessary.

Contact: Lisa Van Buskirk at 650-340-7022, ext. 327 or email
