We thank companies, groups, schools and individuals who find unique ways to give to our animals.

Instead of asking for presents on her birthday, seven year-old Riley Myers (pictured right) wanted to help our shelter animals by collecting donations for PHS/SPCA. She raised a total of $133 and was given a tour of our Center for Compassion along with her five year-old brother Eli (pictured left). Inspired by the work we do for animals, Riley and Eli wanted to continue helping by holding an art show. They decided to sell their oil pastel portraits of both adopted and adoptable cats and dogs and raised an additional $858! Many thanks to Riley and Eli for their dedication, generosity and creativity.

Through proceeds from their lemonade stand, Simone Slavin-Mikrut, Keoni Lo, Chloe Chang, Lilinoe Lo (pictured from left to right), Shogo Stanfield, Austyn Lee-Meintzer and Carsyn Lee-Meintzer (not pictured) raised a total of $106 for the animals in our Hope Program. In the process, they also learned how to successfully run their own business and the importance of helping others (click here to see their blog). Also pictured is rescued Chihuahua Snippet, the lemonade mascot!

Lemonade Stand

To help PHS/SPCA shelter animals, Phoebe Henige and Suzanne Cadagan collected donations and sold homemade baked goods and lemonade at a local park for their ROPES (Rite of Passage) project. They also made special dog treats, which increased their sales to a total of $237!
